Privately owned by Marc and Vicki Rittner of San Dimas, California; the business got its wings the day Vicki went shopping for a “small, late-model Class C motorhome” . . . and fell in love with a brand new, Class B, Roadtrek RS Adventurous. Knowing it would take some convincing for Marc to agree that smaller was better, and that the much higher price tag was worth the investment, Vicki began to search online for “motorhome rentals”.
Unable to find a rental Roadtrek RS Adventurous anywhere in southern California (among thousands of other motorhomes available for rent), the idea of starting a business to fill that need quickly began to make sense. After several months of market research and due diligence, Eat Sleep Go was officially incorporated in the State of California on April 11, 2013. The first RS Adventurous was purchased two weeks later and named “Adele”.
Marc and Vicki live with their family of seven Brittanys (a medium sized sporting dog). They are actively involved in AKC show and field events, and have bred and/or owned many titled Champions. Since 2003, Marc and Vicki have also fostered, trained, and adopted out more than 22 rescue dogs.
Marc grew up in Encino and Tarzana, and graduated from UCLA. Always known to work hard and play harder, his hobbies are dogs and dog training, skeet shooting, pheasant hunting in the Midwest, and racing motorcycles. He recently qualified as an “Expert” racer on his super stock 2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000 and races at least once a month. Marc works for IBM as a Software Consultant, specializing in business analytics.
Vicki is originally from the Roseville/Arden Hills area of the Twin Cities in Minnesota, moved to Omaha with her family as a kid, and graduated from the University of Nebraska. Shortly after that, she relocated to Minneapolis and lived there until meeting Marc and moving to southern California in January 1997.
After an almost 30 year career in sales and marketing with companies including Northwestern Bell, AT&T, Coldwell Banker CRES, and Herff Jones . . . Vicki unofficially retired from traditional employment in 2008. She now enjoys being a stay at home “dog mom”, doing custom embroidery on a 10-needle machine, Facebooking, traveling in the motorhome, and developing and managing Eat Sleep Go. She especially loves sharing her passion for the Roadtrek RS Adventurous with other owners, future owners, and like-minded vacation travelers!
